Delivering Insulin
Using the temporary rate
Temporary rate only appears in the main menu if you
have chosen to have it activated in Setup.
Temporary rates can be used to temporarily raise or
lower your basal delivery, for instance when you are
exercising or sick.
You can create custom Temporary Rates using the
CoZmanager® 2.0 soware; if you have created cus-
tom temporary rates the screens on your pump may
appear dierently than those shown here.

•ChooseTemporary Rate
then press Select.
Using a custom temporary rate:
•Choosethecustomtemporary
rate you want to use then press
Select.
•Reviewthetemporaryrate
specics(thecustomrate
shownatleftisprogrammed
using“percent”;ifyouchose
to use “units of insulin” for
temporary rates an actual rate
will appear).
Tousethecustomtemporary
rate, press Deliver.
•Thepumpreturnstothe
home screen and shows that
thetemporaryrateisrunning.

Programming a one-time
temporary rate:
Themenuscreen(left)only
appears if you have activat-
ed custom temporary rates
in Setup.
ChooseStandard then
press Select.
•Specifyhowlongyouwant
the temporary rate to run,
then press Next.
•If, in Setup, you have chosen
to use “percent” when program-
ming temporary rates: specify
thepercentageofthecurrent
rate you want the pump to
deliver then press Next or
If, in Setup, you have chosen
to use “units/insulin” when
programming temporary rates:
specify the rate you want the
pump to deliver for the
duration of the temporary
rate then press Next.
•Reviewthetemporaryrate
specics.
Todeliverthetemporaryrate,
press Deliver.
•Thepumpreturnstothe
home screen and shows that
thetemporaryrateisrunning.
