Basal Pattern

User can edit (4 patterns, each with a possible 48 time/rate

segments) and start using basal patterns

Delivery Specifications:

Time: Midnight to 11:30PM in 00:30 increments or

Midnight to 23:30 in 00:30 increments

Default: --:--

Rate: 0.00 u/hr (units/hour) or 0.05 u/hr to basal rate

Pattern menu

Number of patterns: 1 to 4 patterns may be displayed or

not displayed

Default: 1 pattern displayed

Pattern names: Pattern “X” (1, 2, 3, 4), Exercise day,

Weekday, Travel, Weekend, Monthly

Default: Pattern “X” (1, 2, 3, 4)

Basal rate maximum: 0.05 u/hr to 35.00 u/hr in 0.05 u/hr

Load Cartridge

User loads cartridge, fills tubing, fills cannula, and selects

site change alarm (if displayed)

Fill tubing: Fills in 1.0 unit increments until Stop is

pressed (automatically stops at 30 units).

Fill cannula: 0.10 units to 1.0 units in 0.1 unit incre-

ments

Default: 0.0 units initially, then last programmed
