About the Pump

Deltec accessories

Deltec offers a variety of products for use with your

pump. A complete list of accessories with ordering

information is included in the materials supplied with

your pump.

Cartridge

You must use the Deltec Cozmo

™

3mL (300 unit)

Insulin Cartridge (reorder number 21-1750) with the

pump. Deltec cartridges are latex free.

Caution: Use only Deltec Cozmo

™

3mL Insulin

Cartridges; other manufacturers’ products will not

work with the Deltec Cozmo

™

pump.

Infusion sets

Deltec offers soft “catheter” infusion sets (the access

device you insert into your body is a small cannula, or

tube). Catheter sets are inserted with a small needle

which is removed after insertion. All Deltec infusion sets

are latex free.

Warning: Deltec infusion sets are recommended for

use with this pump. Pump operation and accuracy

may not be assured if you use other manufactur-

ers’ products.

Infrared (IR) adapter

In order to communicate with the pump using My

Treatment Assistant

™

, your computer must have IR

capability. You can purchase an IR adapter (reorder

number 21-1780) from Deltec. This adapter can be

connected via a USB port.
